About Product Authorization

After obtaining the software, it is necessary to register it online and then perform the authorization procedure. A watermark will appear in rendered images until the authorization process is completed.
*The demo version cannot be authorized.

Installation and Product Authorization

Follow the steps below to complete authorization.

  1. Uninstall the demo version (only required if the demo version was previously installed).
  2. Download your purchase.
  3. Install the product.
  4. Get your machine code.
  5. Obtain and enter your license key.
  6. Authorization completed.

    * Please refer to the email from our company with the subject "[PSOFT-ORDER] Thank you for your purchase", sent to you when you purchased your product, for your log-in ID and password (required to enter the User Page).

1. Uninstall the demo version.

If you have installed the demo version, please uninstall it before proceeding with the authorization process.

2. Download your purchase.

Log-in to the PSOFT user page with your log-in ID and password to download your purchase.

3. Install the product.

1. Run the setup file to decompress it.

2. Execute the setup file and proceed with the installation according to the directions of the setup program.

* If a different version of the product is already installed, please uninstall it before proceeding with the installation of the new version.
* If After Effects is running during the installation process, it is necessary to restart it after completing the installation.
* In some cases, the installation or uninstallation of the product may fail if a memory-resident antivirus software is active. In such cases, please temporarily disable the antivirus software (or other memory-resident software) while installing or uninstalling the product.
* The entry [PSOFT]/[anti-aliasing] will be added to the [effect] menu of After Effects by the installation program.

4. Get your machine code.

1. Click [Options...] in the anti-aliasing effect controls window.



2. Select your LAN adapter (Network interface controller).
If you have multiple LAN adapters installed, select an adapter that will not be removed when using the plug-in. The LAN adapter that is initially selected can usually be used without problem.

Caution:
If the selected LAN adapter is removed or damaged, you will need to perform the authorization procedure once more.



3. The machine code is displayed in the [License] section of the [option] dialog box.



5. Obtain and enter your license key.

1. Log-in to the PSOFT user page and select [Authorize] from the index.

2. Click the [Authorize] button in the product list.

3. Enter your machine code in the [Machine code] field.
(You can copy and paste it directly from the [option] window in After Effects).

4. Click the [Issue License key] button to obtain your license key.
(The key is sent to your registered email address as well).

5. Enter the product serial ID and license key in the appropriate fields in the [License] section of the [option] dialog box in After Effects.
(You can copy and paste the values directly from the PSOFT User Page).

6. Click the [Authorize] button in the [License] section of the [option] dialog box.


7. Once the product is authorized, the message [Authorization has been completed.] will be displayed.

6. Authorization completed.

*If the product is authorized while there are open files where PSOFT anti-aliasing is applied, a watermark may appear on those files. To remove the watermark, delete the cache in After Effects or reload the affected files after completing the authorization process.
