Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the plug-in with different versions of 3ds Max simultaneously on the same machine with the stand alone license.

Use the following procedure to use the plug-in with different versions of 3ds Max independently.
  1. Uninstall Pencil+ 2 from the version of 3ds Max where it is currently installed.
  2. After the uninstallation, install Pencil+ 2 on the new version of 3ds Max.

You will need to re-authorize the product using the newly displayed machine code after installing it on the new version of 3ds Max.
