Unfortunately, it does not. We are considering the introduction of an analog emulation oscillator module in the next update of the software.

Yes, the Oscillator module can be used as a VCO.

If the application is not authorized or if there is a change in your system's configuration, the application will not run and will display the warning message "Unregistered (or key broken). Please complete registration of your product.".

Problems can be observed when using certain combinations of host application and video card. We received reports of problems from users of Cubase SX1.06 and Nuendo 2.01. Unfortunately, we do not know how to solve this problem at this time.

Network rendering is possible, with the exception of one feature*.

By installing Liquid+ on every target machine, you can perform network rendering using only one license. However, it is necessary to authorize the plug-in on the host server. Please refer to the section on network rendering in the product's manual for more details.

*The option "Brush Animation / Apply only In Motion" is not compatible with network rendering.

If you wish to use the product on a different computer, you first need to uninstall it from the current computer, then install it on the new computer and finally re-authorize the product using the new computer's machine code.

Note:

• The license cannot be transferred to another user.

We currently have no plans to port Liquid+ to other platforms. We might consider it if we received many requests to do so.

[Operation on VIZ]
VIZ2005 and 2006 are compatible with 3ds Max 6 and 7 as well as their plug-ins. If you plan to use the plug-in on VIZ, we recommend that you first try the demo version to confirm that it matches your expectations. Also, please be aware that we do not provide product support for using the plug-in on VIZ.

*Note about setup and installation
When choosing the plug-in installation directory, please select the VIZ directory.
Example: "C:\Program Files\Autodesk VIZ 2005".

To distribute the WAV files used by a patch along with the patch data, first put the WAV files into the wav folder and then build the patch. The WAV files can then be distributed along with the vmp/vbk file.

By putting the WAV files in the wav sub-folder within the VOID installation folder, the WAV files' paths can be saved as relative paths (otherwise, the absolute paths will be saved, making them system-dependent).

Microsoft Speech API (SAPI5) is the technology for voice recognition and synthesis provided by Microsoft. Starting with Windows XP, it ships as part of the Windows OS. If you are using a different OS, please consult the Microsoft Speech Technologies or the Speech SDK 5.1 sites (see addresses below).

If SAPI5 is not already available on your system, you will need to use a product equipped with a SAPI5-compatible speech engine or else to install the Speech SDK 5.1 or some other engine in order to provide an environment where SAPI5 can be used.
*We do not provide support with regards to SAPI5 nor other products.

VST stands for Virtual Studio Technology. It is a standard for plug-ins used in audio applications proposed by the German company Steinberg. There are two types of plug-ins called VST effects (VSTfx) and VST instruments (VSTi).

Make sure that the output is connected to the I/O module's AUDIO input port.
The I/O module acts as the input-output interface between the plug-in and the host. The final output signal must absolutely be sent to the I/O module. Similarly, the input from the host is also received through the I/O module.

Yes, it can be used as a standalone application.
It can also be used as a plug-in loaded by a host application.

CHRONOStream2 requires that Windows Media Player version 9 or newer be installed on your computer to start.

CHRONOStream2DX changes output/input sample lengths, which some host applications cannot handle, even though they are DirectX plug-in compatible. Some problems can appear or disappear depending on the environmental settings of the host application or audio device. Incompatible host applications are listed here.

Did you input a user name that is different from the original one? If you change user names, you need to re-issue a license key. Please re-issue a license key or re-install the application using the original user name.

The application uses specific information from Windows for license management. For this reason, if you install the product on a different computer or OS, you may be unable to re-use your license key even if you use your original user name. In such cases, please access the user page and re-issue your license key.

[When installing version 2.2 and newer] Users of version 2.0 (or older) need to renew their license key after installing the new version. Please re-execute the authorization procedure using the new machine code.

To update your software, download its latest version from the user page (*[User Page] / [Download]) and install it. We recommend uninstalling the old version of the software before installing the new one.

*You cannot update to the latest version from [User Page] / [Upgrade].

Try reducing the value of [OUT GAIN].

This may be caused by a high CPU load. If the input audio file is stereo, try activating the [MONO] switch to reduce the processing load. Alternatively, even if the real-time processing fails, this should have no impact on the rendering function, so you can still obtain the desired sound using rendering.

Licensed Files

Due to copyright protection, the software cannot load licensed files.
Please open the properties of the affected files and check if they are licensed.

Windows Media Player Settings

To read tunes ripped from a CD by Windows Media Player using CHRONOStream2, you must use the following Windows Media Player settings.

• Click [Options] from the [Tools] menu.
• Go to the [Rip Music] tab and uncheck the [Copy protect music] checkbox.

Unfortunately, it cannot.

Unfortunately ASIO drivers are not supported.
